Electrical Engineers at Lutron participate within a cross-functional team to conceptualize, design, and develop innovative, high-quality consumer products and services for commercial and residential use.Â
Â
There are a variety of technical areas throughout the product lifecycle that you could encounter from day one, such as: Â
Analog circuit design, analysis, and verification
Microcontroller and RF hardware implementation Â
Power electronics, power supply design, and electric motors
Use of active components such as power MOSFETs, thyristors, and integrated circuits
Design for electromagnetic compatibility, noise immunity, and thermal dissipationÂ
Responsibilities
Design of circuits, including reliability analysis and testing
Development of theoretical models, simulations, and prototypes
Frequent collaboration with RF, mechanical, embedded, manufacturing, and supply chain engineers.
Drive PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design process and product design reviews
Design for global standards and regulations
Development of technology for Lutron's world-class manufacturing plants
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electronics Engineering
Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for each degree earned
0-3 years' experience in a related field
Willingness to travel 5-10% of the time for inter-office collaboration, site visits, etc.Â
